Biography
[edit]Zillul Karim ( born January 04, 1987)[8]. Is a Bangladeshi Social Entrepreneur Based In Dhaka. He is the Co- Founder of Several initiatives aimed at improving Educational and parenting resources in Bangladesh.[2] Karim Co-Founded Light of Hope an educational tools to children. According to the organization, it has reached over 30,000 children with innovative learning tools. He is also the founder of ToguMogu a parenting application that , as of 2024 has over 200,000 User[1] Through ToguMogu and Light of Hope karim has collaborated with organizations such as Grameen Danone Food, a social enterprise co founded by Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus to raise awareness among parents and children for importance of healthy eating habits for children. [1], Additionaly his organisation partnered with United Nations Population Fund to promote sexual and reproductive health awareness .[2]
Before becoming an entrepreneur karim, worked in the corporate sector for seven years.[8]
Popularity and awards
[edit]Zillul Karim gained popularity as young successfull social entrepreneur. His creative journey began with Light of Hope as a Co-Founder and later he Founded another Noble initiative called ToguMogu Parenting app for millennial parents[9]. Zillul Karim noble work flourished during the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh, He submitted an idea to call for nation under access to information catagory and he got 1st runner up award with a cheque for executing the idea. [8]
Later he earns another award Basis National ICT Award 2022 for his noble initiative ToguMogu Parenting app[10][8]
In addition, Zillul Karim founded organisation ToguMogu was honored with the United Nations Population Fund Innovation award in 2022[11]and STITCH for RMG Global innovation Challenge Organized by BRAC (organisation) H&M and [12]
