- Comment: I am quite familiar with the rather remarkable football record this very small village has and am certain that this school is notable. The problem as mentioned above is showing it. You need independent secondary sources to show notability and they do exist. Note that they don't necessarily have to be online. Cite stories from the Battle Creek Enquirerer, the Kalamazoo Gazette, and especially from the Detroit papers that discuss the team's historic record rather than just individual games. Find sources for and discuss the school's history from consolidation of the one room schoolhouse districts that formed the Mendon Schools to the district's merger with surrounding districts to become the school system that exists today. The libraries in Vicksburg, Centerville and Three Rivers should be able to help you research. The library at WMU could also be a resource. This is an important article in the portfolio of Michigan school articles due to its long term dominance in football. I'm very far removed from SW Michigan these days, but I'll be happy to help any way I can. Happy editing! 4.37.252.50 (talk) 19:58, 14 December 2023 (UTC)
