Metin Göker (June 19, 1940 – November 27, 2007) was a Turkish diplomat.

Göker graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, in 1962. He started his career at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Political Planning Department in 1963. He was posted to Prague, then Czechoslovakia, 1968-1970; Cairo, Egypt, 1970-1973; Tokyo, Japan, 1975-1978; Damascus, Syria, 1979-1980; London, United Kingdom, 1982-1984; and Madrid, Spain, 1984-1986. Göker worked in the Cultural Affairs Department of the Turkish Foreign Ministry as Assistant General Manager between 1988-1992 and as General Manager between 1996-2000.

Göker was the Turkish Ambassador to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, between 1992-1996 and to Caracas,Venezuela, between 2000-2004. After performing those ambassadorial roles, he served as an Advisor to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005 and then retired.
