Controversy[edit]

On May 29, 2022, Janz retweeted a post which referred to a police officer as a "pig."[10] The City of Edmonton's Integrity Comissioner found that this action violated the Edmonton City Council's code of conduct, however, Janz avoided any official sanctions after his apology was deemed to be "sufficient remorse" by the Integrity Comissioner as well as by Council.[11]
