Mirvitakri is a dubious genus of extinct mammal of uncertain classification from the Pab Formation of Pakistan. The type, and currently only, species is M. haji, named by Malkani (2019).[1]

Discovery and naming[edit]

The holotype is MSM-141-4s, a posterior dentary, which was described by Malkani et al. (2019).[1]

Classification[edit]

Malkani (2019) classified Mirvitakri as the oldest known member of Hippomorpha,[1] while later authors consider it to be a possible mammal of uncertain classification.
