The Faculty of Information Technology at Monash University, a member of Australia's Group of Eight (Go8), is distinguished as the only dedicated information technology faculty within the Go8. It's located at Monash's Clayton campus in Melbourne, Australia, and has additional course offerings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Suzhou, China. The faculty was formed in 1990 through a merger between Monash University and the Chisholm Institute of Technology.

History

The Faculty of Information Technology was established in 1990 following a merger between Monash University and the Chisholm Institute of Technology. The Faculty has grown significantly over the years, contributing to Monash University's reputation as a leading research-intensive institution.
