Draft:Mr. Gillis Lore

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
  • Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does.
As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’.
Please note that some of the references are not from sources that are considered reliable and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, Twitter, YouTube).
Please note that the references are not formatted correctly (see Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor and Wikipedia’s Manual of Style for help).
Also, if you have any connection to the subject, including being paid, you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link).
Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. You may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page and I would be happy to reassess. Cabrils (talk) 02:58, 27 January 2024 (UTC)

Story Recap[edit]

Mr. Gillis is a fictional character who plays the role of a high school teacher in the fictional school "St. Thomas". Mr. Gillis has been teaching math for over 20 years, making him an expert. Throughout these years he has made some strong alliances with other characters such as Friendly Bracket. Of course this comes with rivalries as well, with the main antagonist being Evil Bracket. In the story, Mr. Gillis and his students go on an adventure to find the final exams, which once completed grant access to "Secondary 4". Mr. Gillis helps the students complete various test along the way where they find friends and foes. The adventure ultimately ends with the class completing the final exam and moving on, while for Mr. Gillis, the cycle repeats. This leads to many fans speculating him going crazy as he seems to be aware of the loop. He is the only one in grad books with different pictures and makes up stories about sentient numbers getting dropped of a bus. Some also believe he uses substances which lead to these hallucinations and sometimes uncomfortable scenes. The math story is considered very good by fans with a 9.2 star rating on IMDB.

Characters[edit]

There are many characters in the Mr. Gillis Universe. This list will only include the main characters.

Mr. Gillis ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Mr. Gillis is the protagonist of "Sec 3 Math" and follows a journey every year to help his students pass the final exam. Mr. Gillis is considered strange by his students and fans. His likes include the hockey team "Montreal Canadians", mathematics, teaching and following the daily workout plan. The power of Mr. Gillis is unknown. The students usually overcome the enemies as Mr. Gillis explains how to defeat them. His power is speculated he is able to bench 625 pounds, but this number can only go up if he gets mad. Unfinished MHSs, not following the workout plan and not having nice clear work with titles gets on his nerves. His friends include his students, Friendly Bracket, MHS God, Justine, Cole Caufield and orange papers. He also goes by many names such as "G-Dog" "G-Money" "Mr. Gillie" and "Gillis". He also has great talent with the guitar.

Friendly Bracket ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Friendly Bracket is Mr. Gillis' best friend and colleague. He is first introduced in the Natural Numbers saga. Friendly Bracket is a nice bracket who likes to include people, do face painting and likes thanksgiving. Friendly Bracket eventually works with the students to defeat Evil Bracket, the main antagonist.

MHS God ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

MHS God is the founder of MHS, where Mr. Gillis got his strength. MHS God helps out the students by training them for other enemies that must be defeated to pass the finals. It is unknown how powerful MHS God is. He knows everything there is to know about math is found all throughout the internet. While not a physical being, MHS God is a crucial character who helps Gillis and the students achieve success.

Students ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Mr. Gillis has a large variety of students each year. With these large numbers there ought to be some students who Mr. Gillis doesn't particularly like. The students train with Mr. Gillis all year and follow the workout plan so they can pass the finals. Without the students the villains would be able to take over the world of math and corrupt it. Thanks to the students this balance in good and evil in math stays 50/50 each year.

Justine ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Justine is a student in Mr. Gillis' advanced math class. Justine is the smartest out of all the students and is considered Gillis' right-hand man. She is usually the one to solve the problems first.

Orange Papers ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Orange Papers contains all the knowledge of Mr. Gillis and is who the students go to when they need assistance. Orange Papers contain everything you need to know about the current math saga. Without him Mr. Gillis would have a much harder time teaching the students, only being able to use MHS God. Orange Papers also help the students remember what to do when training.

Evil Bracket ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

Evil Bracket is the main antagonist in "Sec 3 Math". He is the exact opposite of Friendly Bracket. It is suspected he is working with Mr. Griffin to stop the Montreal Canadians from winning any games.
