Mueang Dong Lakhon (Thai: เมืองดงละคร) is an archaeological site located in the Mueang Nakhon Nayok district, Nakhon Nayok province, Thailand, about 5 kilometers southwest of Nakhon Nayok town.[1] The site was inhabited from around the third to eighth century CE until the thirteenth century, spanning cultural periods from the Dvaravati period, through the Angkor, to the early age of the Ayutthaya.[1] The highest point of the city is on the eastern mound, 34 meters above mean sea level.

The city covers an area of about 6 square kilometers and has a diameter of about 800 meters.[1] It is an almost round oval surrounded by two layers of moats and embankments, but only the outer layer remains. In comparison, the outer embankment is higher, but the inner is wider.

The city was built on the bank of the old Nakhon Nayok River, which can be directly navigated to the sea, making the city suitable for maritime trade, similar to other ancient cities in the Dvaravati period.[1]
