My Ex-Friend's Wedding is an upcoming American romantic comedy film directed by Kay Cannon and written by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Ashley Rodger. It stars Ariana DeBose, Chloe Fineman, Megan Stalter, and Amanda Seyfried.
Premise[edit]
Four friends receive a drunken voicemail from a former friend of theirs, relaying doubts about her upcoming wedding, prompting the four to journey to stop it in addition to reuniting with her.[1]

In March 2023, it was reported that Sony Pictures had acquired the film and set Kay Cannon to direct from a script by Taylor Jenkins Reid and Ashley Rodger, with revisions done by Cannon. Ariana DeBose, Amanda Seyfried, Chloe Fineman and Megan Stalter were cast in leading roles.[1] In June 2023, Liza Koshy was added to the cast.[2] Principal photography was expected to begin in June 2023, until the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike delayed production.[1][3]

The film was originally scheduled to be released by Sony Pictures Releasing on May 10, 2024.[4]
