MycoMeditations is a psychedelic retreat located in Jamaica. It asserts itself as one of the longest-running therapeutic psychedelic retreats in the world, having been in operation since 2014. It is one of numerous retreat providers on the island utilizing psilocybin mushrooms, which are legal for personal use in Jamaica.

The retreat offers psilocybin-assisted therapy and integration services for people suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions. The company has published data from a longitudinal survey of clients, which disclosed the therapeutic outcomes of people who attended the retreat. Clinically significant positive improvements in the treatment of depression.[1], generalized anxiety[2], social anxiety[3], and PTSD[4] were demonstrated, although this data does not equate to true clinical research.

The company issued the following statement on their website in regards to this data:

"MycoMeditations’ longitudinal surveys are not and do not attempt to constitute either an academic study or a registered clinical trial in their procedure, structure, or review process. However, insights drawn from this data convey a need for additional research into the mental health therapeutic benefits of psilocybin and points toward efficacy of treatment models outside of standard clinical and laboratory contexts. All data shared by MycoMeditations was analyzed and verified by a third-party academic partner."

The company has been featured in travel, business, and culture publications including Forbes[5] AFAR Magazine[6], Fortune[7], The Sunday Times[8], Robb Report[9], CNBC[10], Business Insider[11], VICE[12], Reuters[13], Conde Nast Traveler[14], The Washington Post[15], Salon[16], and Thrillist[17]
