Elin Namnieks (born 31 July 1996), known professionally as Namelle, is a Swedish singer and songwriter. Her musical style has been described as electro based pop with dark and suggestive undertones [1].
Early life[edit]
Namelle was born and grew up in Locknevi, Vimmerby municipality, Sweden. She studied the Aesthetics Programme at Oscarsgymnasiet in Oskarshamn.
Career[edit]
Namelle started releasing music under her real name Elin Namnieks, but then switched to her artist name Namelle in 2019[2].
Namelle was nominated as an INES talent[3] in 2018.
In 2021, Namelle signed with the Swedish label LoudKult, where she released her self-titled debut EP. The EP was later followed by a remix EP which was also released via Loudkult.
Namelle graduated from Musikmakarna in Örnsköldsvik in 2022. In November 2022 she released her second EP Salt. The following remix EP for Salt was released in 2023.
Namelle’s third EP, Love’s sake, including the singles Defense, Psycho and What A Shame, was released in 2023.
