Nate Baker is an American politician and urban planner. He was elected to serve on Durham, North Carolina in 2023, winning the most votes of all candidates.[1] Before being elected to Durham City Council, Baker served on the Durham Planning Commission since 2017.

Early life and education

Baker was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina.[2] He attended Durham County public schools, including Durham School of the Arts. Baker graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning in 2011 and then the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master's Degree in City & Regional Planning in 2015.[3]
