Nation Radio is a digital commercial radio station based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Founded in 2018 and inaugurated in August of the same year, Nation Radio was established with the goal of delivering exceptional music content and engaging conversations. The station was funded by Passionate Touch Consulting, a media buying agency.

Operating 24/7, Nation Radio ensures access to quality music and dynamic programming at any time. Diverging from traditional radio stations, Nation Radio implements automation during weekdays while enhancing excitement with live programming.

With a target audience aged 23 to 45, Nation Radio caters to a diverse range of popular genres. Music takes precedence, occupying 70% of airtime, complemented by talented on-air personalities filling the remaining 30%. The station predominantly broadcasts in English, ensuring accessibility to a broad audience.

Nation Radio's musical repertoire spans RnB, Soul, House, Jazz, Kwaito, Rap, Hip-Hop, Lounge, Slow-Jam, Afro-Soul, Afro-Beat, Amapiano, Easy Listening, Pop, Funk, Folk and Neo-Soul. The carefully curated programming appeals to individuals from various backgrounds, making Nation Radio a hub of entertainment and knowledge that caters to diverse tastes. In recognition of its quality broadcast, the station was nominated for the 2020 Radio Awards - Best Internet Show, just two years after its establishment.

Despite its successes, Nation Radio has faced challenges, including a mass exodus of presenters who left for greener pastures. Nevertheless, the station continues to operate under strict budget constraints, with its mother company continuing to provide funding to this date.
