From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nekolim is a term introduced by Indonesian President Sukarno combining the terms neocolonialism and neoimperialism (NEo-COLonialism-IMperialism). The term is used to describe "the enforced conditions of imperial control without formal rule". This term was coined after Indonesia was liberated from Japanese occupation following World War II and was used to describe imperial interests of Western powers, including the Netherlands and the United States.[1] Category:History of Indonesia Category:Sukarno
