NetSfere is a mobile messaging service designed for enterprise use.[1][2] It is developed by Infinite Convergence, a Chicago-based company.[1][3] Anurag Lal is the current president and chief executive officer (CEO) of NetSfere.[4][5]
Overview[edit]
NetSfere features encryption for instant messaging and supports the secure transmission of text, documents, images, and videos.[1] The service includes centralized management, device-to-device encryption, cloud-based storage, and remote wipe capabilities.[1]
History[edit]
NetSfere is part of Infinite Convergence which was founded in 2010.[6] It was formed with the acquisition of messaging platforms of Alcatel-Lucent, Motorola, and Nokia.[7] A year later, Anurag Lal was named as the CEO of the company.[8]
In 2016, NetSfere introduced a version of its messaging app for the Apple Watch, complementing its existing availability on Android and iOS mobile devices, as well as PCs via web browsers.[1] The Apple Watch app enables users to receive message notifications, check unread messages, and reply to conversations using pre-configured text responses or voice dictation.[1]
In 2021, NetSfere released NetSfere Omnichannel, a platform aimed at developers with tools for integrating various communication features, including alerts, reminders, and notifications, into enterprise applications.[9]
