The Nordic Lighthouse Organization (NFO) (Nordens Fyrtekniska Organisation) is the lighthouse authority cooperation organization for Nordic countries. Maritime administrations of the Nordic countries are responsible for aids to navigation (ATONs [Navigational aid]) around coastal areas of Scandinavia.[1][2][3]

NFO gathers every two years (biennial) in one of the Nordic countries.

After several letters had been mailed in spring 1974, the first meeting was held in Reykjavik, Iceland 26th and 27th of June 1974.

NFO Symposium 2022 -meeting was held in Reykjavik and Hella in Iceland in the end of May and beginning of June 2022.

NFO Symposium 2024 -meeting was held in the city of Oulu in Finland from 23rd to 26th of April.
