Draft:North Edgecombe High School
North Edgecombe High School is a public high school in Leggett, North Carolina, outside Tarboro, North Carolina in Edgecombe County, North Carolina. The high school has about 206 students[1] and as of 2022, it reported serving 6,000 student from pre-k to 12th grade. Shavin Brown is its principal.[2] The student body is 73 percent African American, 16 percent Hispanic, and 8 percent white. Nonety-nine percent are categorized as economically disadvantaged.[1] Warriors are the school mascot and the school colors are black and orange.[3]
It has a rivalry with Tarboro High School.[4]
