North Marysburgh Township, is a hamlet in Prince Edward county , In Ontario, Canada.
Previously it was part of Marysburgh Township , before that was split into North and South. In 1998 , these two were amalgamated into the corporation of the county of Prince Edward.
The township was named after Princess mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh.
It's located near the other hamlet of Glenora and the locality of Waupoos.
It was settleded originally by retired German mercenaries and became the one of the first German speaking settlements in Ontario , although today English is predominantly spoken.
