Theophilus Nutifafa (born June 19, 1996), is a self-taught software developer and internet entrepreneur from Ghana. He is the founder and CEO of Pharst Care, a software service that brings pharmacies to people's doorsteps.[1]

Early Life and Education[edit]

Nutifafa is a product of the Alakple Roman Catholic Basic School in the Volta Region and West Africa Senior High School. He was a student at the University of Ghana, Legon, studying Economics, Religions, and Theatre Arts and graduated in 2021.

While awaiting admission into university, Theophilus took advantage of the time to learn coding and programming with YouTube videos and by reading books on the subject.

Nutifafa taught himself programming through tutorials he found via Google.

Nutifafa has 7+ years of experience in designing and testing applications and is well-versed in Agile methodologies and coding languages. He is an innovative software engineer who has been recognized for his work in the tech industry. Nutifafa is a participant in the OpEx Prize project, which seeks to sponsor young Ghanaian tech entrepreneurs who are using technology to make a difference.[2]

Pharst Care[edit]

Pharst Care[3] is a virtual pharmacy that provides pharmacy services to users digitally, leveraging on mobile technology. The app offers free medical consultations, medication deliveries, patient reviews, medication tracking, online counseling, and preventive healthcare information. Pharst Care is available on both the Google Play Store[4] and Apple's App Store.[5]

Recognition[edit]

Nutifafa has been recognized for his work in the tech industry. He was featured in The Business & Financial Times, a business news publication, for his awesome work with Pharst Care.[6]

He was also given an award of recognition from the Google Developers Group (GDG) community during the 2022 DevFest[7] in Accra for his contributions to the community.
