Draft:Nykur

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Nykur is a Danish Vodka made by Nykur Spirits. It is made from water from The Faroe Islands - a cluster of 18 volcanic islands found halfway between Norway and Iceland.

Since discovery of this water when tunneling through the mountains in 1988, the locals have loved the water. The water is naturally sourced and is channeled to the plant by gravity. It is a simple, sustainable process that makes the water environment friendly.

Nykur is a mythical beast of Faroese folklore and appears in the shape of a shimmering grey horse emerging from the depths of Faroe’s lakes. Its beauty tempts weary travelers to mount or pet it. Once they do, they stick fast, trapped as Nykur drags them to a watery grave. To break the spell, call out its name — NYKUR.

Enjoy the purity of Nykur Vodka but stay alert. Nykur’s spirit lives in every bottle. When its power takes hold, shout out loud — NYKUR. Drink responsible.
