OneSat is a family of reconfigurable communications satellites developed by Airbus Defense and Space.[1].

The OneSat platform is derived from the Eurostar satelite bus, but is designed to be fully reconfigurable in orbit, generally known as a Software Defined Satellite[2]. This means that at launch, the satellites are not designed for a specific pre-defined mission, but are instead able to adjust parameters such as coverage area and frequency while in orbit, allowing them to serve not only different missions, but with different providers.

In 2024, it was announced that the OneSat satellite program was affected by financial charges due to undisclossed issues with their satellite business as a whole. [3].

In 2024, Airbus had nine total orders for OneSat, including contracts with Inmarsat, Optus and intelsat [4]
