Orange Boom is a Canadian pop-punk band from Newmarket, Ontario^[1]. They were formed in 2023. The members are Aidan Russell (vocals, guitar, studio drums) and Miles Klaassen (bass), as well as Andrew Lu, who plays drums at live performances.

History

The band was formed in 2023 by singer-guitarist Aidan Russell, bassist Miles Klaassen, and drummer Ariyan Janagan while they were in grade 9 at Newmarket High School. Ariyan was kicked out shortly afterwards and replaced by Andrew Lu.

On June 23rd, 2024, they self-released their debut EP, Punk Drop Paranoia,^[2] featuring Aidan Russell on vocals, guitar, and drums, and Miles Klaassen on bass.
