PROVYS is a software solutions provider specializing in broadcasting management systems for television channels and radio operations.

History[edit]

Being based in Prague, Czech republic, the development of PROVYS software began in 1995 as a project to enhance the efficiency of Czech television operations, addressing workload challenges and operations management, the roll out of this project was in 1997.

Originating from DCIT, a cybersecurity company, which was founded in 1993. Over the years, the company has evolved to a global player and it now has over 60 employees. PROVYS has been deployed by over 50 broadcasters in more than 20 countries. While the majority of PROVYS clients are in Europe, the software has also found users in Latin America and Africa.[1][2]

Key Offerings[edit]

PROVYS has four main software packages for linear channels and VOD, advertisement management, and production. The products are PROVYS: Everywhere, OnDemand Bridge, Production Ace and AdSales.[3]

Clientele[edit]

PROVYS serves a diverse clientele, ranging from local broadcasters to international media networks and institutions. The software is known for its scalability and flexibility, accommodating both small channels with limited operations and large networks with extensive reach.[4] Among the software clients there is for example OTE Group from Greece,[5] TV 2 (Norwegian TV channel)[6] or the European Parliament.[7]
