AIssistance or aissistance is an english neologism, first in a 2023 publication titled "Artificial Intelligence and e-Learning will shape the future of vascular surgical training".
Definition
[edit]This neologism was intially defined as "the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide assistance in a setting of training and education", but it has been used widely to describe any kind of assistance provided by an AI tool in completing a task.

[edit]The term "AIssistance" was first introduced in the scientific publication by Mr. Matheiken and Dr. Patelis, titled "Artificial Intelligence and e-Learning Will Shape the Future of Vascular Surgical Training." This article appears in Volume 5, Issue 4 of the Hellenic Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, published in 2023. The term AIssistance has since used in various settings and nowadays a number of apps and websites include the term in their commercial name.
