Peggy Owens (known professionally as PEGGY) is an American indie-pop musician from Michigan currently based in New England.[1]
Biography[edit]
Peggy Owens grew up in Michigan participating in the performing arts from a young age. She attended the Berklee College of Music, where she obtained a major in music therapy.[1] While in college and after graduating, she began releasing her music independently via her Instagram, TikTok, Spotify, and Soundcloud accounts. She has since worked with Nettwerk Music Group[2] to release her most recent single Alice.[3] Her debut single "Fictional Men" went viral in 2021 garnering 12.1 million plays on Spotify as of October 2023.[4] Alice, stylized ALICE, has been lauded for its exploration and discussion of maladaptive daydreaming. Her debut EP is set to release in early 2024 through Nettwerk Music Group.
