  • Comment: I expect that in a few years she will win awards and have other notability. However, at present there is not enough. I doubt that anything will be achieved by resubmitting. Ldm1954 (talk) 14:50, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

Dr. Penelope Adinku is Ghana's first female cardiothoracic surgeon[1][1][2][2]. Dr. Adinku attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and completed a three-year general surgery membership program with West African College of Surgeons in 2017. Dr Penelope Adinku currently serves as a senior specialist at the Cardiothoracic Centre, Accra Ghana and as a Medical Doctor at Surgeon at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital. [3]. Dr. Adinku successfully repaired a 6-Year-Old girl’s heart [4]through a surgical procedure[5]. This accomplishment paves the path for women with a quest to become cardiothoracic surgeons.[6][7]Reports say Dr. Adinku was awarded the 2022 Best Candidate in Cardiothoracic Surgery [8]in West Africa.[9]
