Philipp Herold (born 1991 in Heidelberg) is a German slam poet and author.[1]

Education[edit]

Philipp Herold received a Bachelor of Arts in cultural studies from the University of Koblenz.[2][1]

Career[edit]

Herold was twice a runner-up in the German-speaking Slam Championships for poetry slam, in 2011 and 2016.[3][2][4]

He authored "Everything in His Time" (2018) and its sequel "Everything to His Two" (2021), both published by Lektora Verlag.[1][2][5] He also edited the anthology "Tintenfrische" in 2012.[6][3][2][1][4]

He moderated Germany's first "Deaf Slam" in 2012.[7][4]

Herold presents "Sohn of Culture" at Kulturfenster since 2018.[8][2][1]

In 2020, Herold co-wrote "Haiku Diary" with Mila Bubliy.[2][9]

In 2021, Herold and producer Björn Gögge released the spoken word EP "Von hier an".[2]
