Rafal Heydel Mankoo (b June 1976[1]) is a British historian, author and public policy consultant specialising in British national culture and identity and the monarchy.

He is a regular pundit on various media outlets covering both British and world royalty, British heritage, etiquette traditions and institutions.

Early life[edit]

Heydel-Makoo was born in the United Kingdom and educated in Canada. He holds degrees in history and law.

Publications[edit]

He wrote a book called ‘A London Peculiar: The London You Shouldn't Miss’. He was also the co-author of Burke's Peerage & Gentry: World Orders of Knighthood & Merit.

Other work[edit]

He is one of the trustees of the Canadian Royal Heritage Trust, a pro monarchy charity.[2]
