Mitroi Răzvan Andrei (born 15 December 1998), also known as Razvan Mitroi, is a Romanian songwriter and record producer based in Bucharest, Romania.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Born in Bucharest, Romania, he has graduated from a business and tourism university at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies.[1][2] His love for music started in childhood, growing up listening to Avicii. "I always dreamed about how magical is to know that millions of people are in love with your music", Razvan Mitroi stated in an interview.[3][4]

2019: Breakthrough[edit]

In 2020, Razvan Mitroi garnered international attention with his debut single “Summer Vibes” which started a trend on TikTok and Instagram Reels. He debuted on several charts on iTunes and Spotify.[5] [6][7][8] After receiving support from famous people like Ava Max, Jamie Oliver, Nicole Sherzinger, Charelle Schriek, Josephine Skriver, Sergio Ramos, his daily Spotify streams registered an increase of 72%.[9] After being used in an Instagram Story by Sergio Ramos in July 2021, media outlets have started to show attention to Razvan Mitroi by writing articles about his music.[9]

2020: Last Sunset With You[edit]

Razvan Mitroi won a musical contest held by Skio Music, in July 2020. With over 140 songs submitted for this Pop Contest, Razvan Mitroi's song “No More Secrets” was placed third, making his work appreciated.[10]

In the second half of June 2020, Razvan Mitroi announced via social media that a debut studio album was going to be released in the next few weeks, under the title “Last Sunset With You”. He also announced that he would be releasing three promotional singles, leading up to the release of the album. The first of these singles, which was released 22 June 2020, was entitled “No More Secrets”.[11] The second single came out on 6 July 2020, and was called “Not Alone”. The third and last single was released on 31 July 2020 and was entitled “About Me”. Razvan Mitroi’s debut album was released on 21 August 2020.[12]

2021: Your Story[edit]

After the success of "Summer Vibes", Razvan Mitroi released an Extended Play titled "Your Story"[13] containing 5 free-to-use songs for content creators to use in their creations. The 5 songs included in this EP are "Happy", "Funky Nights", "Havana", "Sunset Lover"[14] and "Summer Vibes which was released prior to the EP.

Razvan's Mitroi song, "Summer Vibes," became the soundtrack to countless Instagram Reels, with nearly half a million videos swaying to its rhythm and soaking in its sunny vibes.[15]

2022-2023: Launching Razvan Mitroi Merchandise Shop[edit]

In July 2022, Razvan Mitroi announced a new single titled "Waves"[16], which was released on 15 July.[17] On 12 August, Razvan Mitroi debuted his single, "Somebody To Love", featuring Elisia, on a Spotify Editiorial playlist, New Music Friday[18], and New Music Daily on Apple Music.[19]

On 5 December, Razvan Mitroi surprised everyone by releasing a winter-version of the popular song "Summer Vibes", titled "Winter Vibes".[20]

In January 2023, Razvan Mitroi introduced a free newsletter as a novel avenue for engaging with fans. This platform provided subscribers with timely updates regarding forthcoming music releases, new projects, and a plethora of additional content.[21]

"Your Love", featuring dutch singer Alessandra was released as a single on 24 February 2023 and considered timed for Dragobete, a Romanian holiday that celebrates love.[22] As the sped-up versions of songs became more and more popular among social media platforms, Razvan Mitroi released a sped-up version of his single "Your Love", on 17 March.[23] Later in March, Razvan Mitroi also released a Sunset Mix version of "Your Love", a more chilled version of its dance song.[24]

On 9 June 2023, Razvan Mitroi launched its very own merchandise shop, featuring 3 collections:[25]

  • Summer Vibes Collection, a summer-style oriented collection inspired by the famous hit "Summer Vibes";[26]
  • Razvan Mitroi X Champion Collection, an exciting collaboration with Champion sports brand;[27]
  • Home & Living Collection, a summer-style Home and Living products.[28]

In the summer of 2023, Razvan Mitroi released 2 singles, "Anyone Else" featuring american singer Belle, on 30 June, following "All The Things You Do" a month later, on 21 July 2023.

2024-present: Untitled Album[edit]

On 1st of May, Razvan Mitroi teased via Instagram a new album is coming soon.[29]
