Rejaul Islam Raju is a Bangladeshi politician based in Shailakupa in Jhenaidah District. He is the current joint general secretary of Shailakupa upazila Awami League. He is the son of freedom fighter Taijal Hossain, .
Early Life
[edit]He was born in 9 November 1975 in the Shailakupa Upazila in Jhenaidah District to Taijal Hossain, a freedom fighter[1] and Johura Begum, a housewife. He completed his SSC from Shailakupa Pilot High School and completed his HSC from Shailkupa Degree College. He completed bachelor from Islamic University.
Activism
[edit]As a Awami League activist he took part in anti-Khaleda Zia movement in 1996 and took part in protest against 1/11 caretaker government demanding release of party leader Sheikh Hasina. He filled his candidacy for 2024 Jhenaidah-1 by-election. But failed to get party nomination.[2][3]
