Comment: Sources such as Inman and Globest do not establish notability. The Washington Post is solid but it's not independent -- the content is Q&A via email. JSFarman (talk) 02:56, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

RentCafe.com (formerly RENTCafé) is a property management software owned by Yardi Systems[1][2] that provides services for property managers and tenants[3] such as leasing tools, online chat, self-storage search and self-guided tours.[4]. RentCafe is also a listings site[5] that focuses on multi-family properties across the U.S. and Canada.
History[edit]
Launched in 2011 by Yardi Systems, RentCafe was created as a marketing and leasing tool for property managers. It is a free web-based and smartphone apartment search platform that allows online rent payment, maintenance request submissions, reputation management and social media tools among other services.[1]
In 2014, property management company Terragon enlisted the services of RentCafe to achieve higher occupancy in multifamily properties in Washington state.[6]
In 2018, RentCafe Reach, with tools like SEO and pay-per-click advertising, became available for senior living providers. It was integrated with RentCafe Senior Living, a platform of Yardi’s Senior Living Suite.[7]
2019 marked the introduction of MyCafé by RentCafe, which allowed property management companies to create their own branded apps.[8]
In 2021, REACH by RentCafe was launched as a digital marketing agency for property managers.[9] In the same year, RentCafe expanded its client base to UK-based real estate operator City & Docklands.[10]
RentCafe also aided in the creation of customer relationship management software, RentCafe CRM IQ, which was introduced in 2022.[11]
In 2023, as a response to the White House announcement regarding hidden fees, the website implemented an update to show a fee disclosure section.[12] This included security deposits, administrative fees, pet fees, along with rent prices.
RentCafe has also produced a range of reports and studies focusing on real estate news and market insights.[13]
