Richard B. Ott (March 17, 1897 – April 30, 1987) was a justice of the Washington Supreme Court from 1955 to 1967, serving as chief justice in 1963.

"Educated in the Ritzville schools and was graduated from the University of Idaho School of Law in 1919. ... He opened his law office in Ritzville in 1921 where he had an extensive general law practice until 1949 when he was appointed superior court judge of Adams county.[1]

"Mayor and city attorney for Ritzville".[1]

Served in the Washington House of Representatives, national vice commander of the national American legion".[1]
