Ricky Dover Jr[edit]
Ricky Dover Jr is a rock musician from Nashville TN, best known as the lead guitarist for Grace Potter.
Biography[edit]
Ricky was born May 9, 1986 in Houston TX, and was raised in Knoxville TN. He formed his first band, 122o, when he was sixteen years old and independently released three albums. In 2010, he completed his undergraduate at Middle Tennessee State University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Production.
Career[edit]
Immersing himself the Nashville TN music scene, Dover began playing guitar and bass with numerous local bands within the Lower Broadway Honky Tonk music scene and touring extensively.
In late 2022, Dover joined Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Jason Ringenberg (Jason & the Scorchers) to perform at Nashville’s iconic music venue, Exit/In.[1]
Starting in November 2023[2], Dover joined two-time Grammy nominee Grace Potter (Grace Potter & the Nocturnals)[3], in support of her latest album, Mother Road.
