Lieutenant Junior Grade Robert S. Hoyle - Engebi and Parry Islands, Eniwetok Atoll, Marshall Island, where he landed with the assault waves February 18 and 22, 1944 exposed himself to enemy fire as the beach master relaying messages to Landing Team commander. ^[1]
