Rohan Monteiro (born 1981) is an Indian author from Mumbai. He lives in Singapore with his wife Sharon and two kids Zachary and Zarah

Early life and education[edit]

Rohan's interest in writing began at a young age. During his college and MBA days he used to participate in multiple creative writing and inter-collegiate competitions. At the age of 15, one of his stories was published in Savvy magazine Rohan studied in Maneckji Cooper ICSE school in Juhu and graduated with a B.Com. degree in Commerce from MMK College, Mumbai, in 2001

Rohan worked in Market Research across a variety of companies, including IMRB, TNS and Kantar across diverse markets such as India, UAE , Saudi Arabia and Singapore. It was in Dubai that he met his wife Sharon Temudo. His misadventures while pursuing her inspired his first book 'Keep Calm and Go Crazy which was published by HarperCollins India in 2015

In 2011, he moved to Singapore. His short story 'The School'[1] was published in the Best Asian Speculative Fiction 2018 collection by Kitaab

In 2018, Rohan began work on an Urban Fantasy series set in modern day Mumbai. Book 1 of the series Titled Shadows Rising is set to release on Feb 17th 2024

Rohan is an amateur chess, poker and badminton player. He holds an open water scuba diving license from PADI and has travelled to more than 50 countries. His other hobbies include computer gaming, badminton, swimming,board gaming, indoor wall climbing, adventure sports, and reading fantasy novels
