Roqos is a network and cloud security company, with headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The company offers SASE and ZTNA based cybersecurity solutions.[citation needed]

Roqos was founded in 2014 in Reston Virginia, by Sezen Uysal, also founder and CEO of Simena which was acquired by Netscout Systems.[1]

Products[edit]

Roqos provides cloud managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions which include SD-WAN and ZTNA. Its architecture includes Roqos Cloud, Roqos Core appliances, and Roqos SASE applications on laptops, PCs, phones and tablets. Roqos SASE includes models of physical appliances with various size and port counts, virtual appliances, as well as software only solutions.[citation needed]

Roqos SASE uses patented OmniVPN(R) technology which is used for direct connections among sites bypassing firewalls and NAT'ed routers.[2]

It also uses another patented technology to estimate duration of HTTP and HTTPS sessions and reports which device and user established this connection.[3]
