Ruby Jay is an American actress and singer. She stars as the titular character Holly Hobbie in the Hulu series of the same name, and portrayed Grace in The Unicorn.

Career[edit]

Ruby Jay started acting in plays when she was 5 years old, and commercials when she was 10.[1] Her first TV role was an episode of Grey's Anatomy in 2016, followed by an episode of Modern Family in 2018.[2] Later in 2018, she landed her first major role as Holly Hobbie[3] in the Hulu streaming series of the same name; she dyed her hair blonde for the role. This would follow up one year later with another role as Walton Goggins' daughter on The Unicorn.[4] Ruby Jay would later appear in The Santa Clauses starring Tim Allen.

Ruby Jay also covers and makes her own songs. Her first breakout single, Cherry Pop, was released in 2018.[5][6]
