S.R Mahadeva Sarma and S.R Rajasree are an Indian duo of violinists who are a part of the Carnatic music (South India) field. Their father Prof M. Subramonia Sarma, is a noted Violin player and professor in Swathi Thirunal College of Music. [1] [2] [3]

Among the famous and senior artistes who S.R. Mahadeva Sarma has accompanied Dr.K.J.Yesudas gave encouragement, guidence and patronage. This aspect has inspired S.R. Mahadeva Sarma to achieve excellence in his field of music. S.R. Mahadeva Sarma has worked as a music director for the malayalam album named "Ragasaagaram". He has also performed background music violin for many malayalam film songs such as "Kasthooriman", "Thaandavam" and tamil film "Kaancheevaram".

S.R. Mahadeva Sarma and S.R.Rajesree has composed many Keerthanams, Varnam, Thillana in Sanskrit.

  • S.R Rajasree is making music article in Vipradhwani Magazineof KeralaBrahmanaSabha.
  • Sangeetha Audio Cassette Company Chennai has released CD named Sunadhasurabhi and audio cassette of their violin duet concert in 1994.
  • Giri Trading Company Chennai has released their violin trio concert and youtube release of their violin duet in the year 2014.
  • S.R Mahadeva Sarma and S.R Rajasree have done research work and popularized Naarada Pancharathnam,Thiruvotriyoor Pancharathnam, Kovoor Pancharathnam & Sreerangam Pancharathnam in Kerala. This work has gained good appreciation from the public.
