Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali is chairman of the research-based think tank Muslim Institute, which is based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and London, UK.[1]. He is a tenth-generation descendant of 16th century South Asian Qadiri Sufi Sult̲ān-ul-‘Ārifīn Sultan Bahu[2][1][3] . The international think-tank Institute of Peace and Development (INSPAD) has ranked him in the list of Top Ten Most Influential Muslims of the year 2020[4][5].

  • In April 2019, under Sultan Ahmed Ali’s chairmanship, MUSLIM Institute organized a solidarity event in Jhang, Pakistan to make a human image of New Zealand‘s Al Noor mosque in Christchurch city to show solidarity with Christchurch victims[15][16]. He also organized an event in April 2022 to pay tribute to United Nations’ efforts for curbing Islamophobia[17][18].

Ali has participated in various conferences and symposiums in United States of America[19], Turkiye[9], Azerbaijan[20][21], Kazakhstan[22] and UK[23]. He has also delivered number of lectures in many academic institutions[24][25]
