The Salt Lake Shred is an ultimate team in the Ultimate Frisbee Association based in Salt Lake City. The team is in the West Division of the league, and has made a playoff appearance in each of its first two seasons.[1] The Shred were selected to host the UFA's Championship Weekend in 2024.[2]
History[edit]
The Salt Lake Shred had its inaugural season in 2022, surprising the league by making the playoffs.[3] The Shred's coach Bryce Merrill, former coach of the Brigham Young University men's team, was instrumental in the formation of the team and the team's success in its early seasons.[4]
