Draft:Sam Corcos

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Sam Corcos is the CEO and Co-founder of Levels Health.[1], a startup building an app that interfaces with a glucose monitor to track blood sugar levels, to give the wearer awareness of how their body is responding to food they have recently eaten, as well as other factors such as stress or tiredness.

Sam was previously[2] the founder of CarDash, a startup that endeavoured to make car repairs convenient and transparent, reducing the agency problem for that notoriously opaque industry.

Sam is a minimalist, purportedly owning only 'one pair of pants'[3] and three t-shirts[4].

Sam set up Levels to be a remote-first company, matching his lifestyle which involved frequent travel[5].

Another decision driven by Sam at Levels[6] is the company practicing quite radical transparency, for instance sharing company all-hands meetings on Youtube[7].

Sam practices and recommends[8] a high level of delegation, personally using a team of four to five remote assistants to help manage his work[9]

Sam also tracks his time very thoroughly[10], to be intentional about how he spends it.
