Sara Alavi is a Persian-American model, actress, musician and humanitarian.[1][2] She gained acclaim for her album Game of Perception in 2013.[3] She is also well known for advocating for children, women's rights and refugees, and was titled Ambassador-at-Large for Peace Worldwide Organization in 2011.[4]

Performances[edit]

She has been featured in media for Fortune 500 brands such as Samsung, Exxon Mobil and Mercedes-Benz.[5] She has also performed for President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush in Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway at Jones Hall in 2009.[6]

Alavi produced and directed the critically acclaimed documentary 'What Do We Know About Refugees?,' which focuses on misconceptions of forced migration and the economic impact on the U.S. infrastructure and its effect on the average American citizen.[7]

Alavi graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a degree in Public Affairs, with an emphasis on International Affairs.[8]

  • 2009 - 2019 - Sara joins UNICEF, and in 2009 musical theatre production of “A Christmas Carol” at Berry Center.
  • 2011 - Peace Worldwide Organization founded, Sara became volunteer Ambassador at Large for non-profit.
  • 2012 - performed at Neil Berg’s “100 Years of Broadway”, Former President George H.W. Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush in attendance
  • 2013 - released debut music album “Game of Perception” on birthday Jan 26th
  • 2013 - graduated Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Undergrad in Public Affairs with emphasis on International Affairs.
  • 2020 - Produced award winning short film “Black Lives Matter - Listen to Our Voices”
  • 2021 - Featured at end of film “An Organized Killer” and received notice for her unique look and acting for that genre.
  • 2022 - Produced and directed award winning feature length documentary “What Do We Know About Refugees?”
  • 2023 - Released second album a decade after the first album. New album also released on her birthday (Jan 26th) and entitled “Hear Me Now”.
