Sashani Nichole, professionally known as Sashani, is a Jamaican-born actress recognized for her work in film and television.

Sashani developed her passion for acting while attending St. Andrew High School for Girls in Jamaica. Her career began in Jamaica before she moved to the United States to pursue further opportunities in the entertainment industry.[1]
Sashani starred as Mia in the film *A Christmas Winter Song* (2019), directed by Camille Brown, where she appeared alongside Ashanti and Stan Shaw. The film focused on themes of family and reconciliation and performed well in viewership ratings on Lifetime.[2] It was also nominated for an NAACP Image Award for writing by Melissa Bustamante.[3] Camille Brown discusses the film's themes and production in an interview.[4]
In 2023, she appeared in the television series *Chicago PD* as Julia Eagan in the episode "Deadlocked," directed by Jesse Lee Soffer.[5] She was also the focus of an episode of the reality TV series *My Fair Wedding with David Tutera*, where her Motown-themed wedding was planned.
In addition to her acting work, Sashani served as the entertainment reporter for Rob Parker's *Sports Rap* on WADL Detroit, where she covered entertainment and sports-related topics. Rob Parker is a well-known sports journalist and television personality. She has also appeared in national commercials, including a notable collaboration with musician Brad Paisley.
