Seher Yeli is the third studio album by Turkish singer Güler Duman, released on October 16, 1984. The album was released with Özlem Plak label. The recordings of the album started in June 1984. The recordings, which were completed in August 1984, took about two months. In the summer of 1984, Güler Duman completed the recording of the album and this was the third album released by Özlem Plak. The album included works by artists such as Aşık Sıtkı Baba, Davut Sulari, Neşet Ertaş, İsmail Özden, Gevheri, Ercişli Emrah, Mahmut Salan and Yüksel Yıldız.
In the early 1980s, he achieved great success with his first two albums Dost Garip (1980) and O Leyli Leyli (1982), released under the musical direction of Mustafa Karaçeper, with a circulation of over 1 million copies.[1] Following the success of the albums, he made his name known to the masses with the long air he sang in the movie A Season in Hakkari (1982), directed by Erden Kıral. Tracks such as "Seher Yeli", "İnsana Muhabbet Duyalı", "When Your Eyelash Touches Your Eyebrow", "Forgive me Sevinci Hakkı Seversen" and "Bir Hayal Misali, Bir Düş Misali" were the standout pieces of the album. Güler Duman, who received positive reactions with her album Seher Yeli as in her previous albums, achieved great success again by exceeding 500 thousand sales circulation.[2]
