Serve Robotics is an American company based in Redwood City, California that makes autonomous sidewalk delivery robots. As of May 2024, the company operates a fleet of around 100 robots that deliver food via Uber Eats in Los Angeles.[1]

Serve Robotics was founded in early 2021 as a spin-off from Uber.[2] The company was named after the robot Serve which was developed by Uber-owned Postmates.[3]
In December 2021, Serve Robotics raised US$13 million in an extended seed round. Soon after, in March 2022, an investment of US$10 million by Nvidia was also announced.[4][5]
In May 2022, Uber Eats began a pilot with Serve Robotics for autonomous food delivery in Los Angeles using its delivery platform.[6]
In January 2023, Serve Robotics began a partnership with 7-Eleven for deliveries using the 7-Eleven delivery app 7Now.[7]
In August 2023, Serve Robotics went public via a reverse merger.[8]
In April 2024, Serve Robotics was up-listed to Nasdaq with the ticker symbol SERV.[9]
