Draft:Seymour Fliegel
Seymour "Sy" Fliegel is an American education specialist.
He is President and Gilder Senior Fellow of the Center for Educational Innovation - Public Education Association and author of Miracle in East Harlem, an account of his experiences in the small schools movement of the 1970s. In addition to leading CEI-PEA, Fliegel serves on the advisory boards of The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the Foundation for a Greater Opportunity, the Carl Icahn Charter School, the Trey Whitfield School, the John V. Lindsay Wildcat Academy Charter School, and The Young Women's Leadership School.
Author of Miracle in East Harlem:: The Fight for Choice in Public Education.
