Seyyed Mohsen Alavi was a representative of the 10th term of the Islamic Council in the district of Lamard and Mehr. He went to Baharestan with 40,414 votes in the 7th March 2014 elections. He is the son of Seyyed Mahmoud Alavi, Minister of Information of the Islamic Republic of Iran and participated in the elections as an independent candidate.
