Sharief Bhai is a chain of restaurants specializing in the traditional flavors of Dakhni cuisine. It is founded with the vision of popularizing authentic Dakhni dishes to a broad audience all year round. Sharief Bhai has expanded to over 60 outlets across South India and UAE.[1]
History
[edit]The founder Navaj A Sharief started the Sharief Bhai brand in 2017 at Koramangala, Bangalore.[2] In 2019, the restaurant opened its tenth outlet in Bangalore. In 2021, Sharief Bhai restaurant hit the landmark of 20 outlets all over Bangalore. In November 2024, the restaurant expanded to 60+ outlets over India and United Arab Emirates.
Dakhni cuisine
[edit]A signature offering at Sharief Bhai is its Dakhni biryani, prepared with fragrant Zeeraka Samba rice - a small-grain rice celebrated for its unique texture and ability to absorb rich flavours. The most celebrated dishes at Sharief Bhai are Mutton Biryani, Har-dil-azeem gosht biryani, Pathar gosht, Chicken 65, and Paya ka salan.[3]
