Sheela Pandit born (14 January 1976) is an Indian Politician. Who is currently BJP State Vice President Bihar.[1] Before this she was the state secretary of Bihar BJP.[2] She has also held the post of independent director in Indian Railway Finance Corporation (November 2021)[3]
Early life[edit]
Sheela Pandit was born on 14 January 1976 in Narveerpur, Bhojpur , Bihar . His father P.D. Pandit was a naval officer , his mother Sonamati Devi was a housewife. Sheela belongs to the Kumhar (Prajapati) caste. She has a college degree in MBA-HR from Vinayak Mission University, Tamil Nadu , followed by B.Ed. from RPS Colleges, Patna, (2008–09) and B.A from SNDT Women's University, Mumbai . During B.Ed., she was the second topper in her college. She joined International Girls School as a senior English teacher and later went into politics. She is married to Dr. Arun Kumar (1 May 2000) in Sherpur, Maner, Patna and has two daughters.
Early politician career[edit]
Sheela is from extremely backward class. Sheela Pandit became the deliberative member of Zilla Parishad, Patna for the first time. She lost to her rival by only 62 votes. In the year 2010, she became a member of District Board, Patna by leading by about 10000 votes. During the period 2010-2015 she did many social activities for the society to improve women empowerment. Another famous work was Diara Bachao Bharat Bachao . She actively participated in the National Panchayati Raj Day (24 April) at Science Bhawan, New Delhi on 24 April 2012–13. She participated in the Seminar on Empowering Women in Politics in New Delhi on 8 March 2013 on International Women's Day. Are. He delivered a lecture on Decentralization of Power to IAS Officers at NIRD Hyderabad on 3 March 2016. She became the BJP President of Patna District Garmin of Mahila Morcha, Patna during 2017–2019. She actively participated in the BJP Rashtriya Mahila Morcha conference in Ahmedabad. Nominated as BJP President as Patna District Garmin. Later in the year 2020 he was nominated as BJP, State Secretary Bihar.[4] In the same year (i.e. 2020) he led the rally of PM Shri Narendra Modi at Bihar Veterinary Ground.[5] In November 2021, he was nominated as an Independent Director (IRFC).[6] On 9 August 2023, he has also been named as the Vice President of BJP Bihar.[7]
