Shoeless Computers was a business specializing in computer sales and repair from 1999 to 2023. The business was started by Eric Tauck and Kurt Wiesend in the basement of Vidiots Discount Video at 113 South State Street in Marengo, Illinois. In 2006 Shoeless Computers moved to 314 North Michigan Street in South Bend, Indiana into the building formerly occupied by Mr Lenard's Furs.
On August 26, 2009 the South Bend Tribune published profile of the business.[1]
In September 2010 the business was organized into a domestic limited liability company (LLC) in the state of Indiana.[2]
Shoeless Computers closed in November 2023 and in December of the same year the company was dissolved.[2]
Business Name and Logo[edit]
The name Shoeless Computers came from Eric Tauck's reputation for not wearing shoes and the footprint logo used by the business was based on Eric's actual footprint.

After the move to South Bend, Shoeless Computers adopted a local stray cat named Ticket in 2006. Ticket lived in the building until 2019.
